A Napanoch woman was charged June 24 by Ulster County Sheriff�s deputies with nine counts of animal cruelty. Camille Fraracci, 59, has been charged with failing to provide shelter to impounded animals after complaints were received from customers at the flea market in the Valley Mall in Napanoch. A veterinary examination found nine of the animals to be emaciated and additional charged were filed.
A search warrant was executed on June 24 and several other animals both living and dead were seized, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents and poultry. The live animals were transported to the Ulster County SPCA where they will receive medical evaluation and treatment. Additional charged will be filed pending those veterinary exams, officials said.
