Authorities are investigating an alleged cockfighting operation in the Yavapai County community of Rimrock. Sheriff's deputies and D-P-S officers responded on July 31, 2005 to a call of alleged cockfighting outside a residence. As officers arrived, they said they saw several men flee on foot. Two men at the residence were booked on charges stemming from alleged animal cruelty.
The Yavapai County sheriff's office says seven vehicles also were impounded.
