• Try to locate the appropriate humane law enforcement department for your area. Please see our Reporting Abuse page for more details.
  
  
• Contact the law enforcement agency in your area*. If they have not responded within a few days, contact them again. Keep trying until they investigate the situation.

If your local law enforcement agency is unwilling to investigate the case, contact your local media. Communities often respond strongly to cases of animal abuse, and sometimes a little media pressure can go a long way.
