Spreading the Word

The biggest and most ongoing task we need assistance with is simply letting other shelters, rescues, and humane law enforcement organizations know about what we're doing. It sounds simple enough, but if you consider the sheer volume of these organizations in the US alone, the task becomes formidable.

New Abuse Cases

One of the easiest ways to contribute to the cause is to send us information on cases you see in your local media. There is a minimum list of details that we need in order to add a case, which can be found in the Case Submission Guidelines.

Following-Up on Existing Cases

You are our eyes and ears! Although we do our best to try and keep on top of the case progressions, there are far more of them than there are of us! When you hear of an update to a case we have listed, let us know. Always be sure to back up your case update with a media reference (links preferred) or court docket number.

If you have some extra time, go through our current database information and try to check up on cases that we still have listed as "Alleged" that are over a year old. If you have the resources, contact the local law enforcement dept that handled the case to see what the outcome was.
